The mission of The Volunteer Lawyer Program of Northeast Indiana, Inc. is to ensure that all citizens have equal access to the court system.

The Volunteer Lawyer Program of Northeast Indiana, Inc. (VLP) serves low income residents in Federal District 3, which includes Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Wells, Whitley and Steuben counties. Eligible clients are placed with attorneys who volunteer their services for specified matters. Our program helps in the areas of:

Contracts
Estate Law
Wills
Power of Attorney
Health Care Directives
Guardianships

Additionally, we also hold pro se clinics to aid clients in understanding and completing court papers to handle some matters on their own.

The VLP does not handle matters relating to traffic, driver's licenses or criminal charges. Also, we do not accept fee generating cases such as personal injury.
